Selective intervention undermines the credibility of market liberalization policies and may lead to accusations of arbitrariness or political interference.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n Reframing the Policy Approach: From Enforcement to Enablement \r\n\r\nRather than enforcing price reductions, government and regulators may want to look at these:\r\n \r\n \t Support Local TV & Content Producers \r\n \r\nInvest in public broadcasters, local TV stations, and Ghanaian content creators. This will provide consumers with affordable, culturally relevant alternatives to premium DStv content.\r\n \r\n \t Promote Market Entry \r\n \r\nLower the barriers for new entrants\u2014local streaming platforms, IPTV services, and regional content aggregators.
