FanMilk beats MTN to post best YTD stock performance on the local bourse

FanMilk beats MTN to post best YTD stock performance on the local bourse

The benchmark GSE Composite Index (GSE-CI) gained 8.77 points to close at  2,804.70 translating into a YTD return of 44.45%.

Also, the GSE Financial Stock Index (GSE-FSI) appreciated by 12.31 points to close at 1,994.86 translating  into a YTD return of 11.90%.

FanMilk Plc (FML) gained GH¢0.18 pesewas to  close at GH¢2.10 translating into a YTD return of 94.44%, outperforming Scancom PLC (MTNGH) which has been the best performing stock for most part of the year.

The bourse’s market capitalization subsequently increased by GH¢91.83 million to close trading at GH¢63.64 billion representing a YTD growth of 17.04% in 2021.

A total of 2,599,524 shares valued at GH¢2,061,604.48 were traded at the close of Monday’s session, an increase compared to the previous  trading session with CAL Bank (CAL) recording the lion’s share of trades as  it accounted for 89.2% of the total value traded.
