" \n The Institute for Energy Policies and Research (INSTEPR), has bemoaned the absence of a substantive minister for the nation's energy sector since the commencement of the second-term of President Akufo-Addo on January 7, 2021. \n \n\n \n According INSTEPR, the nation's energy sector is faced with many teething problems and the lack of direction and leadership at the moment can compound the problems and cause them to escalate. \n \n\n \n \"In the past week, Ghana missed a deadline to take over the operation and maintenance of the Ameri plant, there have been Union agitations at Tema Oil Refinery since the beginning of the year.
