GSE-CI remains unchanged for 3 days; posts returns of -11.69%

Another lackluster session was witnessed at the Ghana Stock Exchange  (GSE) on Tuesday as the GSE-Composite Index (GSE-CI) on a three-day running did not record any change at the close of the trading session.  

The GSE-CI did not record any change to close trading at 2,463.27 points representing a YTD return of -11.69%.

The GSE-FSI also maintained its level to close at 2,076.84 points, translating into a YTD return of -3.49%. 

NewGold (GLD) ended today’s trading session as the sole decliner as it  moved down by GH¢9.00 to close at GH¢256.80.

Meanwhile, a total of 33,065 shares were traded across seventeen (17) counters.  These trades cumulated in a turnover of GH¢1,999,058.91.

Scancom  PLC. (MTNGH) emerged the most traded stock at the close of trading  session, accounting for 70.03% of overall trade volume, whilst NewGold (GLD) accounted for 98.79% of the total value traded.
