GSE: TBL emerges sole gainer on local bourse

GSE: TBL emerges sole gainer on local bourse

Benchmark index the Ghana Stock Exchange Composite Index (GSE-CI) began the trading week on the up as it advanced marginally by 0.77 points to close trading at 2,463.57points representing a YTD return of -11.68%.

The GSE FSI likewise gained 1.38 points to close at 2,075.79 points, representing  a YTD return of -3.53%.

Monday’s trading session ended with one (1) gainer which is Trust Bank Gambia Ltd [TBL].

TBL was the sole gainer on the day, gaining GHS 0.04 to close the session at GHS 0.72 recording a year-to-date increase of 111.76% in share price.

Market capitalization of the GSE for the day settled at GHS 64.85bn.

Meanwhile, a total of 11,587 shares were traded across ten (10) counters.  These trades cumulated in a turnover of GHS 16,012.92.

Scancom PLC. (MTNGH) emerged as the most traded stock at the close of the trading  session, accounting for 46.10% of the overall trade volume, and GCB  Bank PLC. (GCB) accounted for 45.61 % of the total value traded.
