On September 15, the Motorola RAZR 5G folding screen smartphone went on sale for the first time on online shops across the world and sold out real fast.

Although the price was as high as $1,923, in all online channels, the phone was completely sold out and it took only 2 minutes.

The second batch will go on sale on September 21, and already there have been several pre-orders, gizchina.com reports.

In addition to paying tribute to the classic Razr V3, the biggest feature of this machine is that it perfectly solves the crease problem of the folding screen.

According to Lenovo’s official introduction, the Motorola Razr 5G uses the industry’s exclusive ‘star track’ shaft with more than 100 patents.

This hinge allows the screen to fold according to a certain curve. At the same time, it solves the problem that creases will occur when the screen is completely folded in half.

Plus, it solves the problem that the screen cannot be restored flat when the corner is too large.

The shaft combines the leading design and technology of Lenovo Research Institute and Motorola Mobile. It is one of the most unique and core technologies of this phone. Also, we’d like to mention this is a great example how a product can succeed when two giants unite.

Researchers revealed that its life span can reach more than 200,000 times. This number means that you can use it for at least five years.

In addition, the Motorola Razr 5G uses a flexible screen in the shape of a water drop first proposed by Lenovo Research Institute. This shape of the screen allows the phone to be folded in parallel when it is folded inward.

It is worth noting that there is a sinking space below the screen. When the screen is closed, the entire screen will sink accordingly. This is done to prevent the folding part of the screen from being squeezed for a long time.

This will affect the life of the entire screen. When we fully unfold the phone, the elastic metal structure hidden in this space will tighten the screen to keep it flat to eliminate screen creases.
