President Mahama Appoints Okudzeto Ablakwa as Foreign Affairs Minister in Third Batch of Ministerial Appointments 

President John Mahama has appointed Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament for North Tongu, as Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.

The appointment forms part of the president’s third batch of ministerial nominations and includes several other notable figures.

Among them are Samuel Nartey George, MP for Prampram, who has been named Minister for Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations; Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, appointed as Minister for Defence; and Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, who will serve as Minister for Lands and Resources.

President Mahama’s nominations have been submitted to Parliament for vetting and subsequent approval in accordance with constitutional requirements.
