How to renew your RGD business certificate Online

Registrar General Department (RGD) ensures efficient and effective administration of statutes relating to inter alia, the registration of Businesses, Industrial Property Rights, Marriages, Administration of Estates, Public Trusts and provides customer friendly services and accurate data for national planning and economic development for MDA’s and the General Public

Renewal of RGD business certificate is now easy and convenient once you have you access to internet service. You don’t have to stress yourself to go to RGD office to renewal your business certificate.

Below are the easy steps to renew your business name so you don’t lose it to someone else.

  1. Visit Ghana.Gov website

 

2. Click on Sign Up to register with RGD. It is advisable to use your MoMo enabled number in the sign up process

3. Enter One-Time-Password (OTP) sent to you via email or SMS

4. Dial the short code *222# on your phone

5. Select option 4 – (RGD)

6. Enter your Business Registration Number. eg. (PN005402019)

7. Your Business details will pop up with two options, select option 1 (File Annual Renewal)

8. Open your dashboard on Ghana.GOV and click on invoices

9. Click on the the pending payment in the invoices

10. The application will open and scroll down till you see pay now

11. Click on pay now and follow the prompt
