MTN FA Cup: King Faisal, Dreams FC through to the quarterfinals
King Faisal secured a spot in the last eight of this season’s MTN FA Cup as they made light work of fellow Premier league side Real Tamale United at the Ohene Ameyaw Park.
The Kumasi-based side put four past RTU with target man Ibrahim Osman bagging a brace as in the first half.
King Faisal kept on dominating even after recess and were rewarded with two more goals from Enock Morrison and Wadudu Yakubu.
Leaving it late, Real Tamale United put up a good fight in the last 20 minutes, but could only manage draw two goals back with the match ending 4-2.

After a pulsating 90 minutes of football, it was down to penalties as Dreams FC got the better of Legon Cities at the El-Wak Stadium.
Hans Kwoffie missed from the spot before Boah smashed the winner to send Dreams FC through to the quarter finals.
In an all Division Two encounter, Tamale City thrashed Kumasi based club, Young Apostles 5-2 at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
A brace from target man Solomn, Iddi, Abass and Isaac were enough as the Tamale based club rounded off an inportant win and remain the front-runner for the Northern based clubs.
