7-Member Team to Plan the National Economic Dialogue Announced
A seven-member team tasked with the responsibility of organizing a National Economic Dialogue (NED), has been announced by President John Mahama.
The formation of the seven-member team is in fulfillment of the President’s promise to convene the NED as part of its 120-day social contract with Ghanaians.
The NED will offer a platform for dialogue and consultation on the country’s pressing development challenges.
It will also discuss policy trade-offs and build consensus on reforms needed to transform the country into a high-growth, inclusive, and resilient economy.
The team chaired by Dr Ishmael Yamson includes; Dr K.Y. Amoako, Professor John Gatsi, Mohammed Samara, Nelly Mireku, Anthony Sarpong, and Ernest De-Graft Egyir.
