The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced plans to hold a testimonial match in honor of legendary striker Asamoah Gyan, celebrating his remarkable career and significant contributions to Ghanaian football. The event promises to be a fitting tribute to a player who has left an indelible mark on the sport in the nation.

Known affectionately as “Baby Jet,” Gyan is celebrated as Ghana’s all-time top scorer, netting 51 goals in 109 appearances for the Black Stars. The GFA, in collaboration with Gyan, will provide further details about the testimonial match in the coming weeks. This event aims to honor not just his scoring prowess but also his leadership and charisma that have inspired millions of fans across the continent.

Gyan’s journey began with Liberty Professionals in Ghana before moving to Udinese in Italy.
