Ghanaian music superstar Shatta Wale has been confirmed as the headline performer for the highly anticipated 2025 GHALCA President’s Cup, taking place this Sunday, July 6, at the Accra Sports Stadium. The event features a classic Super Clash between the country’s two most successful football clubs, Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.

This year marks the 17th edition of the President’s Cup, an annual match organized by the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) to honor the sitting president. President John Dramani Mahama is expected to attend and present the trophy to the winning team, adding prestige to the occasion.

In a move aimed at making the event accessible to all football fans, entry to the stadium will be free of charge, allowing supporters from various backgrounds to witness this iconic rivalry.
