Share price of MTN Ghana for the week ending Friday, June 4, 2021, posted a share price gain of 15 percent.
The 15 percentage points increment in the share price of MTN, resulted in the telecom giant ending trading session last week with a share price of Ghs 1.15 pesewas.
Other equities aside MTN Ghana that recorded gains in share prices were Ecobank Ghana, Standard Chartered, Total and Societe-Generale.
Recorded gains in the five (5) equities resulted in a 34.05 percentage points year-to-date increment in the Composite Index (CI) of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) which measures the performance of prices of listed equities.
At the closing bell, a total volume of 4.59 million shares valued at Ghs 6.13 million exchanged hands in seventeen (17) equities.
