As a real estate consultant and a real estate trainer, my mission is to educate and empower the youth in real estate entrepreneurship. My hope is that my efforts will create a positive impact on the community both economically and socially by facilitating the growth of young millionaires through real estate entrepreneurship in Ghana.

There has been a historic pattern where individuals are unaware of the importance and generational benefits of land ownership. Generational wealth can be achieved through acquiring land one plot at a time.

While we cannot re-write the past, we can secure our future by keeping our eyes and minds open to the current developing real estate market in Ghana.

Ghana is indeed the land of great opportunities! The nation has a track record of political stability, which has led to an increased demand for housing units. Currently, there is a deficit of 1.7 million housing units.

Ghana has emerged on the global map because of the significant oil find, booming tourism and hospitality sectors. Fortunately, major international companies have realised the importance of setting up African head offices in Ghana. This calculated move has led to the spike in demand for real estate.

Also, Ghana boasts as having the highest annual rental yields in Africa (source Global Property Guide). Typically, the benchmark for rating a good investment is an annual rental yield of seven percent. Ghana is well over the benchmark sitting between eight to twelve percent per year. In terms of the appreciation rates and conservatively speaking, your real estate investments can return up to twenty percent per annum.

In considering real estate as a great investment, one should consider surrounding areas like Ningo Prampram. It’s a town which is situated approximately forty-five minutes from Accra, and a fifteen minutes drive from the port city of Tema. The surrounding area of Tsopoli is set to become Ghana’s first aerotropolis which in-fact will make it an international economic hub.
