Managing Director of the Ghana Airports Company Limited, Mr Yaw Kwakwa, is in big trouble as staff of the company want him dismissed.

Information gathered suggest that the staff of the company have passed a resolution to remove Mr Kwakwa as the MD on grounds of irresponsibility towards them.

According to deep throat sources, the staff made up of senior and junior members, took the decision at an emergency general meeting held on Thursday, September 24, 2020.

A source close to the management of the company has revealed that Mr Kwakwa has incurred the wrath of the staff as he has reneged on the several promises made to them.

Reports indicate that although management fears the strike action that is ostensibly visible around the premises of the company, leading figures of the unionized staff have advised workers stay calm, pending the outcome of a communique sent to the Minister for Aviation and other relevant authorities.

Workers of the Ghana Airports are also said to be not comfortable with government’s constant interference in the internal affairs of the company, which has crippled its finances.

Should workers of the company embark on an imminent industrial unrest, travelers would bear the brunt, hence the earlier the government addresses the concerns of the staff, the better.
