GIPC retains top position on steering board of World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies
Ghana’s foremost investment agency, the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), has been elected the Sub-Sahara Africa Regional Director of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) for the second term.
This is per a press release by the Centre and sighted by norvanreports.com.
The GIPC’s re-election according to the press statement took place during the 25th WAIPA General Assembly and World Investment Conference on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at the Dubai Exhibition Centre alongside Expo 2020 Dubai.

The Centre prior to its re-election was elected to the directorship role in 2019 with the key objectives of leveraging partnerships and linkages across the continent to eliminate poverty, improving cooperation amongst African Investment Promotion Agencies (IPAs), and creating platforms for African IPAs to share best practices and improve service delivery.
