Andre Ayew misses Black Stars training on Wednesday after head injury against Morocco

Ghana captain, Andre Ayew, has been excluded from training on Wednesday, two days before the Black Stars take on Gabon in their second group game.

The forward suffered a head injury late in the game against Morocco on Monday, which resulted in his bleeding head having to be bandaged.

After the match, the player himself admitted that he was unwell before kick-off against Morocco but was desperate to play the game.

“I have been sick for a few days but I thank God I was able to be on the pitch today with the boys,” he said.
