GSE: FanMilk records 9.62% loss in share price

Share price of FanMilk Limited (FML) declined by 9.62 percentage points on the stock exchange at the end of Tuesday’s trading session.

The recorded loss translated into a closing stock price of GHS 3.57 from an opening stock price of GHS 3.95 for the equity.

The equity on the back of the share price loss on Tuesday, has posted a year-to-date share price loss of 10.75%.

As a result, the benchmark GSE Composite Index (GSE-CI) declined by 4.22 points to close at 2,785.30 points representing a YTD return of-0.14%.

The GSE Financial Stock Index (GSE-FSI) however, flattened to close trading at 2,154.03 points translating into a YTD return of 0.10%.

Market capitalisation of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) due to the recorded loss, shed GHS 58.21m to close trading at GHS 64.46bn.

Meanwhile, a total of 124,661 shares valued at GH¢245,319.99 were traded in fourteen (14) equities compared to 298,338 shares valued at GH¢363,992.39 which changed hands on Monday.

Cal Bank PLC.(CAL) recorded the largest share of trades as it accounted for 44.6% of the total value traded on the day.
