A club-by-club breakdown of the 2021-22 Premier League prize money

Manchester City retained the Premier League title in 2021-22 and their success saw them earn more money in combined prize money and TV revenue than any other side in the competition for the second consecutive year.

Here is an estimation on how much every club in the Premier League will take home in prize money and TV revenue following the conclusion of the campaign.

Each club is given an equal share of £79million from the domestic and overseas TV deals, with an extra facility fee depending on how many times they are broadcast. They then receive a £5.6million share of the Premier League’s combined commercial income.

Premier League clubs also receive an extra share of overseas TV rights income, with the value increasing depending on how high up the table they finish and this is referred to as merit payments.

Here is a break down of each club’s earnings from TV and prize money for the 2021-22 campaign, ranking them in order of how much they made over the season comparatively to the earnings of the 2020-21 season.

Note: these figures are estimates and the facility fees are based on how many times each club was broadcast domestically in 2021-22.
