FirstBank Celebrates Year-End Thanksgiving Service At Victory Bible Church

FirstBank gathered with gratitude and joy at the Victory Bible Church International, Awoshie Junction for a heartfelt Thanksgiving service, marking the end of the year 2024.

The event served as an opportunity for the Bank’s leadership, staff, and community members to come together in appreciation for the blessings and successes of the past year.

The service was filled with uplifting worship, inspiring testimonies, and moments of reflection, as attendees expressed their gratitude for the guidance and support received throughout the year.

The atmosphere was vibrant, with music and praise filling the church, creating a sense of unity and celebration among all present.

Victor Yaw Asante, Managing Director/CEO of FirstBank, addressed the congregation, emphasizing the importance of gratitude in both personal and professional life.

He stated, “As we gather here today, we reflect on the challenges and triumphs of 2024. It is essential to acknowledge the support we have received from our clients, partners, and the community. Our success is a testament to the collective effort of everyone involved. We are thankful to God for His guidance and blessings, and we look forward to continuing our mission of serving our community with integrity and excellence in the coming year.”

The presiding bishop of Victory Bible Church, Bishop N.A. Tackie-Yarboi also shared his thoughts during the service. He commended FirstBank for its commitment to community service and encouraged the Bank to keep up the good work.

“Your efforts in uplifting the community and supporting various initiatives do not go unnoticed,” Bishop Tackie-Yarboi remarked. “As you continue to grow and thrive, may you always remember the importance of giving back and being a beacon of hope for others.”

Notable moments from the event included heartfelt testimonies from FirstBank employees who shared their experiences and the impact of the Bank’s Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability (CR&S) initiatives throughout the year.

The stories highlighted the Bank’s dedication to various causes, including healthcare, education, and community development, showcasing the positive change FirstBank has brought to many lives.

The Thanksgiving service also featured a special prayer session, where attendees prayed for the continued success of FirstBank and for the well-being of its employees and clients.

The collective prayers underscored the spirit of unity and support that defines the FirstBank family and its commitment to making a difference in the community.

As the event concluded, attendees engaged in fellowship, reinforcing the bonds of community and collaboration. The Thanksgiving service not only celebrated the achievements of 2024 but also set a positive tone for the year ahead.
