AFCON 2021: Partey, Ayew brothers start as Rajevac names starting XI against Morocco
Black Stars Milovan head coach, Milovan Rajevac has handed starts to Kamaldeen Sulemana and Joseph Paintsil as high flying wingers for the Black Stars’ AFCON 2021 group opener against Morocco.
Captain Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew, both of of whom missed the friendly against the defending African champions Algeria join Thomas Partey in a pretty strong starting lineup.
Iddrisu Baba also starts in midfield, with Mubarak Wakaso having to settle for a place on the bench.
Jojo Wollacott returns in goal having been deputised by Manaf Nurudeen and Lawrence Ati-Zigi in the 3-0 loss to Algeria.
Daniel Amartey partners Alexander Djiku in defence with Baba Rahman and Andy Yiadom as the full-backs.
