Information reaching norvanreports indicate that Vice President Dr Mahammudu Bawumia is likely to present the 2021 budget.
The 2021 budget to be presented on Friday, March 12 in Parliament, will be presented on behalf of the Minister-designate for Finance Ken Ofori-Atta who is currently in the US receiving medical treatment for complications from Covid-19.
If confirmed, Dr Bawumia’s budget presentation will cover government’s programmes for the remaining three quarters of the year.
Meanwhile, economists in the country have expressed expectations of government implementing policies aimed at quickening and strengthening economic recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic in the 2021 budget presentation.
