BoG officially launches SandBox programme after successful pilot
The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has officially launched its Regulatory and Innovation SandBox Programme.
This follows the successful pilot of the SandBox programme.
In statement issued by the Central Bank, the SandBox programme is line with its commitment to continuously evolve a conducive regulatory environment that fosters innovation, financial inclusion and financial stability.
The SandBox programme the BoG noted, is open to all licensed financial institutions and unlicensed FinTech startups that have innovative products, services or business models.
