BoG revises upwards daily MoMo transaction limits
Daily and monthly mobile money transaction and wallet limits have been revised upwards by the Bank of Ghana.
In a statement issued by the Central Bank on December 22, the apex bank noted the review is part of measures to facilitate more efficient payments, encourage the seamless transition to a cash-lite society as well as promote the use of non-cash models of payments.
The apex bank however, noted that despite the upward reviews in transaction and wallet limits, the aggregate monthly transaction limits will remain unchanged.
