BOPP emerges sole gainer on local bourse on Wednesday

The Ghana Stock Exchange Composite Index (GSE-CI) gained 2.31points  to close at 2,463.08 points representing a YTD return of -11.70%.

The GSE Financial Stock Index (GSE-FSI) remained unchanged to close at  2,076.49 points, representing a YTD return of -3.50%. 

Wednesday’s trading session ended with one (1) gainer which is Benso Oil Palm Plantation PLC. (BOPP).

BOPP closed the trading day as the  sole gainer as it advanced by GH¢0.69 to close at GH¢7.60 per share, recording a year-to-date increase of 14.29% in share price.

Market capitalization of the GSE for the day, despite the share price increase in BOPP, remained the same at GHS 64.85bn.

Compared to the previous trading day’s volumes and values traded increased massively by 21,435.97% and 16,112.48% respectively.

Scancom PLC. (MTNGH) capped off the day as the most traded stock and also accounted for  95.33% of the total value traded.
