CAF Women’s Champions League 2022 groups unveiled
The second edition of the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League, scheduled to take place from 30 October to 13 November 2022 in Morocco, will feature some high-profile matches.
The draw which took place on Friday, September 9, 2022 at the prestigious Mohammed VI Technical Centre in Rabat, revealed the composition of the groups.
In group A, the host club ASFAR FC (Morocco), which won bronze in the maiden edition of the competition in Egypt last year, will face Tanzania’s Simba Queens, Zambia’s Green Buffaloes and Liberia’s Determine Girls.
In group B, defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies of South Africa will face Nigeria’s Bayelsa Queens, Egypt’s Wadi Degla and the UNIFFAC representative which is yet to be decided.
