The Centre for Democratic Development Ghana, has undertaken its third field monitoring of government’s Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication Programme (IPEP) which seeks to allocate the Cedi equivalent of US$1 million to all 275 constituencies every year.
The policy seeks to enhance the provision of capital infrastructure at the district/constituency level to accelerate growth, create jobs and reduce poverty, particularly in rural and deprived communities.
CDD-Ghana in its third field monitoring report – field monitoring done from February 18 to 25 – focused on 20 selected constituency projects in the erstwhile 10 regions of Ghana.
