CHAN Qualifiers: Mas-Ud Didi Dramani Names 26-Man Squad to Face Nigeria on Sunday

Black Galaxies Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has named a 26-man squad for the 2024 African Nations Championships (CHAN) qualifiers against Nigeria.

Headlining the squad are defenders Razak Simpson (Nations FC), Nurudeen Abdulai (Medeama SC), Kusi Asante (Vision FC), Isaac Afful (FC Samartex 1996) and Kamaradini Mamudu (Medeama SC).

There are also places for midfielders Emmanuel Antwi (Asante Kotoko), Manuel Mantey (Medeama SC), Ibrahim Hafiz (Attram de Visser), while forwards Charwatey Faisal (Nations FC), Jerry Afriyie (Thoughts FC), Issah Yakubu (Basake Holy Stars) and Albert Amoah (Asante Kotoko SC), will lead the line for the hosts.

Mas-Ud Didi Dramani’s side will take on the Super Eagles B in the first leg of the CHAN qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday December 22, 2024. Kick off 16:00 GMT (4pm local time).

The return leg is scheduled for Saturday December 28, 2024 in Nigeria.

The Black Galaxies beat Togo in an international friendly last week as part of preparations for the must-win game against the Nigerians.
The CHAN tournament is set to be staged in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania in 2025.
