Changan Automobile Corporation together with its local partner, Stallion Motors, on Wednesday November 25, 2020 launched a brand new pickup in Tarkwa in the Western Region.

The pickup known as the ‘Changan Hunter Pickup’ according to to Changan Automobile, has been designed to meet the conditions of roads in Ghana.

The launch was to enable customers have a firsthand experience of the vehicle and to test drive and feel its performance.

Speaking at the launch at the Longji Hotel in Tarkwa, Brand Manager for Stallion Motors, Manish Daryanani stated that, the launch of the new pickup from Changan adds to the existing commercial range of cars and shows the company’s commitment towards bringing features-packed and quality performance vehicles to the Ghanaian market.

Mr Daryanani noted that for customers not to get worried over parts and how to get their vehicles fixed, Changan Automobile has invested in the state of the art central auto parts and service centre in Accra to support the distribution of genuine parts.

The Member of Parliament for Tarkwa Nsuem, George Mireku Duker, who was a special guest of honour said he was pleased to have the vehicle launched in Tarkwa.

He is of the view that, the Tarkwa enclave has for the past few years experienced economic development, so the unveiling of the Changan Hunter Pickup in the area was in the right direction and believed the market will be good for the company.
