Accra-based Nigerian boxer Joshua Wahab to fight on Usyk vs Fury undercard in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Hard hitting Accra based Nigerian boxer, Joshua Wahab from the Charles Quartey Boxing Gym, has secured the biggest fight of his career so far with millions of potential Satellite TV viewers around the world.

The 26 year old who has been living and training in Ghana for the past 8 years, has been given a dream shot at the WBC lightweight title in Riyadh Saudi Arabia on Saturday 18th May 2024 against a fast rising and undefeated English boxer.

Wahab will take on the British lightweight title hopeful John Mark Chamberlain in what promises to be an explosive bout ahead of the much anticipated Oleksandr Usyk versus Tyson Fury main fight.

“It’s been a tough journey for me but I have been praying and training all my life for a moment like this. By God’s grace, the time has come and I am fully ready for the biggest challenge of my career.”

The West African has been training in Accra feverishly ahead of the global boxing showpiece.
