TBL emerges sole gainer on the GSE

The Ghana Stock Exchange’s Composite Index (GSE-CI) gained 0.38 points to close trading at 2,461.71 points representing a YTD return  of -11.75%.

The GSE Financial Stock Index (GSE-FSI) also gained 0.7  points to close at 2,070.46 points, translating into a YTD return of  -3.78%. 

Monday’s trading session ended with one (1) gainer and decliner each.  Trust Bank Gambia Ltd.

(TBL) was the sole gainer on the day,  gaining GH¢0.02 to close the session at GH¢0.50.

NewGold (GLD) was the sole decliner shaving off GH¢1.34 off its price to close the  session at GH¢180.10.

Market capitalization for the day settled at GH¢64bn

NewGold (GLD) emerged as the most traded stock at the close of  trading and also accounted for 99.84% of the total value traded.
