Edward Koranteng Steps Down from Atlantic Lithium Ghana Board Following MIIF Departure
Former CEO of the Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF), Edward Koranteng, has resigned from his position of Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee of the Board of Atlantic Lithium Ghana.
The resignation, per a letter to the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE), takes immediate effect.
Mr. Koranteng held the position of Non-Executive Director in accordance with the Mineral Income Investment Fund’s entitlement to appoint a nominee director to the Company’s Board, as agreed under the terms of MIIF’s $5m subscription in the Company, and his resignation follows his departure from MIIF earlier this month.
MIIF maintains its entitlement to appoint a nominee director in his place.
Commenting on Mr Koranteng’s resignation from the Board of Atlantic Lithium, Neil Herbert, Executive Chairman of Atlantic Lithium, said, “On behalf of the Atlantic Lithium Board and management team, I would like to extend my gratitude to Edward for his valued contributions to the Company during his tenure and wish him well in his future pursuits.”
