Rotaract District 9104 Hosts The District Learning Assembly & Conference 2025

Rotaract District 9104 is excited to announce the successful organisation of its District Learning Assembly & Conference 2025, held at the Sky Plus Main Auditorium in Takoradi. This year’s theme, “Beyond Borders: Collaboration & Empowerment for a Magical Experience”, set the stage for an inspiring gathering of Rotary members, community leaders, and distinguished guests.

The conference featured a keynote address by Victor Yaw Asante, past District Governor and Managing Director of FirstBank Ghana. In his speech, Asante emphasized the importance of individual journeys within the Rotary framework. “Rotary is about one’s personal journey, so let us focus on that while we collaborate to ensure that we get things done,” he stated. He urged attendees to engage actively in all available programs, highlighting that participation is key to the success of Rotary initiatives. “Always remember, Rotary is not about countries or our district; it is about the world. Be involved, have the passion for Rotary, and participate fully to help shape a brighter future for the communities we serve,” he added.

Mr Asante also took the opportunity to thank neighbouring countries Togo, Benin, and Kenya for their presence, fostering a spirit of collaboration across borders.

The current District Governor of Rotary International District 9104, Florence Maame Hagan, reinforced the commitment to service, stating, “Our commitment to service should manifest in our day-to-day lives.” She reaffirmed the district’s dedication to creating lasting change through service, fellowship, and international understanding. Governor Hagan called for mobilizing resources for Rotaract activities, emphasizing the need for collective action to achieve impactful results.

Kwame Baah Acheamfour, District Rotaract Chair for District 9104, acknowledged the tremendous support from Sky Plus Hotel, which played a significant role in the conference’s success. He also congratulated FirstBank for its continuous support of Rotary initiatives, highlighting the importance of expanding Rotary’s reach beyond Accra. “We must cast our tentacles wide to other neighbouring countries, coming together to think about the growth and betterment of Rotary,” he urged.

The conference featured a lineup of esteemed speakers, including Solange Adjo Kegou, District Rotaract Representative for Rotary International District 9104, Tetteh Kojo Boampong Adesa, District Learning Assembly & Conference Chair, PDRR Allan Ntambi and President of Rotaract Africa MDIO. Their contributions enriched the discussions, fostering a collaborative atmosphere focused on service and community development.
