Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has urged the International Monetary Fund and World Bank to stop lending money to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Mr Omokri in a tweet via his official Twitter account made this known, stating that monies given to the Nigerian Government is being used for the personal gain of President Buhari and his junta.

According to him, “If you lend to them after today, you are not lending to Nigeria.”

”Dear World Bank & IMF, stop lending money to President Muhammadu Buhari’s junta. Note, if you lend to them after today, you are not lending to Nigeria. You are lending to them in their own private capacities,” he said.

“The future generations would have to be the ones paying for Buhari’s debt,” he added.
