Enterprise Group Granted Extension by SEC to Publish Q4 2024 Financials by Mid-February
Enterprise Group PLC (EGL) has announced that it has been granted an extension by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to publish its unaudited financial statements for the fourth quarter of 2024 by February 15, 2025.
In a statement dated January 30, 2025, and addressed to the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE), the company did not disclose the specific reason for the delay in releasing its financial results.
Typically, delays in financial reporting can be attributed to several factors, including incomplete audits, complex accounting issues, ongoing legal investigations, significant changes in business operations, data system issues, natural disasters, internal control deficiencies, auditor disagreements, and also a lack of preparedness by the company’s finance team.
Market analysts and investors will be keenly watching for EGL’s financial disclosures, as any prolonged delay could raise concerns regarding the company’s financial health and governance.
