12-Member BoG Board Constituted by President Mahama

President John Mahama in consultation with the Council of State, has constituted a 12-member Board for the Bank of Ghana.

The 12-member board constituted by the President is in accordance with Article 70(1)(d)(iii) of the Constitution and Section 8 of the Bank of Ghana Act, 2002 (Act 612).

Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Johnson Asiama, heads the Board as its Chairman supported by the First Deputy Governor of the BoG, Dr Zakari Mumuni.

Appointed onto the board include: now Deputy Finance Minister-designate, Thomas Nyarko Ampem and Isaac Adongo, Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central Constituency in the Upper East Region.
