EPL: Diallo’s Spectacular Hat-Trick Leads Man United to Comeback Win Over Southampton

Amad Diallo delivered a stunning performance, scoring a quick-fire 12-minute hat-trick to propel Manchester United to a 3-1 victory over Southampton. This win rescued United from the brink of a fourth consecutive home defeat and brought relief to their fans.

The Ivory Coast winger equalized in the 82nd minute, then scored again just before the end of regular time, and capped it off with a third goal in stoppage time, taking advantage of a defensive mistake.

Southampton had initially taken the lead with an own goal from Manuel Ugarte just before halftime, and they created several chances to extend their advantage. However, they couldn’t find the net again, leaving them at the bottom of the Premier League table.

United’s manager, Ruben Amorim, praised Diallo’s impact, saying, “Winning is the most important thing.” Diallo’s goals were critical in turning the match around after a shaky start for United, who faced mounting pressure after a series of disappointing performances.

The win lifts United to 12th place in the league, while Southampton remains 10 points from safety, still searching for a victory under new manager Ivan Juric.
