Euro 2024’s priciest tickets

ARKA has recently conducted research to find the most expensive football match tickets for upcoming games of the season. This ranking is based on the starting prices of tickets by June 2024.
The most expensive Euro 2024 group-stage match is Germany vs. Scotland at the Allianz Arena in Munich, with a starting ticket price of $872. With the Euro tournament being hosted in Germany, the 70,000-seat stadium is expected to be full with both teams battling in the group stage match. The highest ticket price averages to $10K with VIP seats.
Switzerland vs. Germany at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt follows closely in the second position, with tickets starting at $615. The highest ticket price averages at $4.4K at this group stage match in Euro 2024. With the German team having the home advantage, the 58,000-seat stadium is expected to be fully booked.
Denmark vs. England, at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt ranks third, with tickets starting at $558. With VIP tickets priced around $2.5K, this match is expected to be one of the highlights of the group stage.
Scotland vs. Hungary at MHPArena in Stuttgart ranks fourth, with tickets starting at $538. This crucial group stage match has VIP tickets averaging $13K. The match will be held at the 55,000-seat stadium and the tickets are expected to be sold out.
Turkey vs. Portugal, at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund ranks fifth, with tickets starting at $473. With Portugal’s superstar players, including the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo who will play his last Euro, the ticket prices reach up to $3.6K. The stadium is expected to be fully packed, making tickets highly sought after.
Scotland vs. Switzerland, at Rhein Energie Stadion in Cologne ranks sixth, with tickets starting at $444. With 50,000 seats, the venue will be packed where the most expensive tickets for the game reach $13.6K.
Germany vs. Hungary at MHPArena in Stuttgart takes the seventh place, with tickets starting at $443.23. Featuring the hosts of the tournament the match is expected to be sold out in the 55,000-seat stadium. The highest ticket price reached $4,127.
Portugal vs. Czechia at Red Bull Arena Leipzig ranks eighth , with tickets starting at $443 like Germany vs Hungary. Another match featuring CR7’s team, the most expensive tickets average $3.8K. The 41,122-seat stadium is expected to be  full.
Netherlands vs. France at Red Bull Arena Leipzig ranks ninth, with tickets starting at $413. This highly anticipated match features two of Europe’s top teams. The most expensive tickets average $3.6K. Fans will fill the 41,122-seat stadium to witness the game.
Croatia vs. Italy at Red Bull Arena Leipzig rounds out the top 10, with tickets starting at $395. This match is expected to draw a large crowd, with the highest ticket prices reaching $3.8K. As this will be the start of Luka Modric’s last Euro, the 41,122-seat stadium is expected to be filled to capacity with fans eager to see the legendary midfielder in action one final time in the European championship.
Spokesperson from ARKA commented on the findings “It’s fascinating to see how the excitement for Euro 2024 is driving up ticket prices, even for the group stage matches. With teams like Germany, Portugal, and Croatia, and legendary players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric, and Toni Kroos possibly making their last appearances, ticket prices are expected to rise significantly. Prices will skyrocket as the tournament nears the semi-finals and finals, the closer the date the higher the prices will get. These matches, being part of a globally watched event that happens only every four years, create a massive buzz and drastically increase ticket prices as the big games approach. This kind of fan spending behavior is super valuable for us to understand, especially when planning how to engage audiences in sports and entertainment in the future. It’s the beauty of this sport and its fans.”
