FA Cup Draw: Arsenal To Face Man United, Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool Set To Face Lower-League Sides

In a highly anticipated showdown, Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United are set to face off in the third round of the FA Cup. The draw, held on Monday, has sparked excitement among fans as the two storied clubs prepare to meet at the Emirates Stadium between January 9 and January 13.

This match marks a significant moment as United will make two trips to North London in their quest to defend the trophy they lifted last May.

The history between these two teams adds an extra layer of intensity to the matchup, with both clubs boasting rich legacies in English football. Arsenal, under the guidance of Mikel Arteta, will be eager to assert their dominance at home, while Manchester United will aim to showcase their resilience and hunger for silverware.

Meanwhile, other intriguing matchups have emerged from the draw. National League side Tamworth has been handed a monumental challenge as they prepare to host Premier League heavyweights Tottenham Hotspur. This clash promises to be a memorable occasion for the underdogs, who will look to upset the odds.

In a notable fixture, Manchester City will take on Salford City, a team partly owned by several Manchester United legends, adding another layer of intrigue to the contest. Premier League leaders Liverpool will also be looking to solidify their cup ambitions as they welcome Accrington Stanley to Anfield.

The excitement doesn’t stop there; Chelsea will face Morecambe at Stamford Bridge, and Harrogate Town will enjoy a Yorkshire derby against Leeds United. Newcastle United will host League Two side Bromley, while Aston Villa will square off against West Ham United in the second all-Premier League tie of the round.
