The announcement was made by Deputy Majority Leader Kweku Ricketts-Hagan while presenting the Business Statement of Parliament on Friday, July 11.
According to Mr. Ricketts-Hagan, the Mid-Year Budget Review will provide critical updates on the implementation of the 2025 Budget, focusing on the country’s economic and fiscal performance over the first half of the year.
“The mid-year again will happen on the 24th of July,” Mr. Ricketts-Hagan stated on the floor of Parliament.
The review is also expected to shed light on government revenue mobilisation efforts, expenditure trends, debt management, and progress under Ghana’s International Monetary Fund (IMF) programme.
Additionally, the Finance Minister is likely to outline measures aimed at sustaining ongoing disinflation, enhancing growth, and further stabilising the cedi amid global and domestic economic pressures.
The presentation will come at a time when market watchers and development partners are closely monitoring Ghana’s economic recovery efforts following recent macroeconomic challenges.
