Finance Ministry Invites Public Input for 2026 – 2029 Budget
The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has called on business associations, professional bodies, financial institutions, civil society groups, faith-based organisations, and the general public to submit proposals towards the preparation of Ghana’s 2026 – 2029 Budget Statement and Economic Policy.
In a public notice, the ministry acknowledged that past contributions have helped shape national budgets and reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive policy-making.
The government is expected to present the budget to Parliament on November 15, 2025, with feedback from stakeholders forming a central part of the policy formulation process.
“This call is in line with the government’s responsiveness to the needs of the Ghanaian citizenry to deepen participation in the budget process as well as implement inclusive policies,” the MoF stated.
Submissions are to be sent electronically to bdru@mofep.gov.gh by close of business on Friday, August 29, 2025.
