FirstBank Ghana Commissions New Branch in Ashaiman to Drive Financial Inclusion and Economic Empowerment

FirstBank Ghana has officially commissioned its newest branch in Ashaiman, marking a significant milestone in the Bank’s strategic expansion across the Greater Accra Region. The commissioning ceremony was led by Victor Yaw Asante, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of FirstBank Ghana, and attended by esteemed customers, staff, community leaders, and members of the media, including DSP Orlando Joseph Adzokpa, District Commander; Nii Annang Adjor III, Chief of Ashaiman; and Naa Amui, Queen Mother of Ashaiman.

In his address, Mr. Asante emphasised the vital role of the Ashaiman community in FirstBank Ghana’s mission. He stated, “Ashaiman is a thriving hub of economic activity, with diverse industries and entrepreneurs driving its growth. We are committed to supporting this development with financial services tailored to your needs and a deep commitment to partnership.” He highlighted that the opening of the branch goes beyond a ceremonial event, symbolizing the Bank’s dedication to fostering relationships and creating opportunities within the community.

The new branch is part of FirstBank Ghana’s ongoing initiative to enhance its presence in underserved areas and promote financial inclusion. Mr. Asante noted, “Our promise of delivering our Gold Standard of value and excellence remains steadfast, and we are here to demonstrate our commitment to you, our stakeholders. Our goal is to be the financial partner of choice for individuals and MSMEs in Ashaiman.”

The Ashaiman branch will provide innovative, customer-focused products and services to individuals and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across various sectors, including education, commerce, transport, health, hospitality, and construction.
