FirstBank Ghana Expands Footprint with New Nhyiaeso Branch

FirstBank Ghana has officially opened its newest branch in Nhyiaeso, Ashanti Region, as part of its ongoing commitment to expanding its presence and delivering exceptional banking services across the country. The opening ceremony, held at the new branch, was attended by the Bank’s management, staff, and valued customers, marking a significant milestone in FirstBank’s continued growth and success.

The Managing Director and CEO of FirstBank Ghana, Victor Yaw Asante, highlighted the significance of this new branch as part of the Bank’s mission to make banking more accessible to its customers. In his keynote address, Mr. Asante stated, “We are here today to officially open our Nhyiaeso branch, which reflects our commitment to bringing financial solutions closer to our customers. This is our third branch in the Ashanti Region, with Adum and Suame already in full operation. Our purpose today goes beyond a simple ribbon-cutting, but it is about strengthening partnerships and creating opportunities for economic growth and prosperity.”

Mr. Asante reaffirmed the Bank’s commitment to delivering its Gold standard of value and excellence, a hallmark of FirstBank’s customer-centric approach. The Nhyiaeso branch will provide personalised services and financial products tailored to the unique needs of individuals and businesses in the region. “Our promise in delivering our Gold standard of value and excellence remains the same. It is a good time to demonstrate that we are here for you and committed to you, our stakeholders. This is how we differentiate our brand, and that is what we mean when we say ‘You First,” Mr. Asante added.

The ceremony also featured remarks from Ms. Rosie Ebe-Arthur, Non-Executive Director of FirstBank Ghana, who emphasised the Bank’s broader commitment to community development. “Beyond banking, FirstBank is deeply committed to empowering the communities we serve. Our financial literacy programs, SME support initiatives, and partnerships with local organisations have made a tangible impact on individuals and businesses alike,” she said. Ms. Ebe-Arthur underscored the importance of inclusive growth, noting that the Nhyiaeso branch will act as a hub for community engagement, supporting local economic activities, and promoting entrepreneurship.

The state-of-the-art Nhyiaeso branch is equipped with advanced digital banking facilities designed to enhance customer interactions and ensure seamless service delivery. As FirstBank continues its digital transformation journey, the new branch will serve as a crucial touchpoint for both physical and digital banking solutions, offering secure and convenient access to banking services anytime, anywhere.

Mr. Asante also took the opportunity to express his appreciation to FirstBank’s loyal customers and the dedicated staff who have contributed to the bank’s success. “Today’s event is not only a celebration of our expansion but also a reminder of the enduring relationships we have built over the years. We look forward to continuing our partnership with you, driving mutual growth and success,” he said.
