Formula 1 Unveils Exciting 2026 Season Calendar with New Regulations and Sustainable Fuels
Formula 1 and the FIA have officially announced the calendar for the 2026 FIA Formula One World Championship, featuring a thrilling 24-round campaign that introduces new technical regulations and a commitment to 100% advanced sustainable fuels.
The season will kick off with the Australian Grand Prix from March 6-8 and conclude with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from December 4-6. In a significant shift, the calendar will see races across five of the world’s seven continents, enhancing the global reach of the sport.
Key Changes and Highlights
With Ramadan taking place during February and March, the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix will be held in April this year. This adjustment allows for a more efficient geographical flow of the races, with the Canadian Grand Prix now scheduled to follow the Miami Grand Prix in May, optimizing freight logistics between events.
The European leg of the season will run from June to September, starting with the Monaco Grand Prix and concluding with Madrid making its F1 calendar debut on September 11-13. This addition reflects the sport’sexpansion and commitment to new markets.
