The Minister for Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta, on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, presented to Parliament the Expenditure in Advance of Appropriation Budget for the first quarter of 2021.

The presentation of the budget by the Finance Minister, deviates from the conventional budget presentation done in November for the next fiscal year.

This is a standard practice during election years and it is to prevent transitional challenges in the smooth running of Government for the first three months in the year after elections.
