GACL interdicts security officer for ‘frisking’ Kan Dapaah in public
The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has interdicted Awudu Basit, a security officer for publicly searching Mr. Albert Kan-Dapaah at the Kumasi Airport.
According to a statement from the company , the action by the security officer embarrassed the National Security Minister who was at the VVIP Lounge as at the time of the incident.
The statement issued by R. S. Tagoe, the Group Executive, Human Capital and Office Services, stated that Awudu per the Collective Bargaining Agreement will be paid two-thirds of his salary till the end of the investigations into the matter.
