GFA Unveils New Technical Team for Black Queens
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the reconstitution of the Black Queens’ technical team. The GFA is optimistic that this new leadership will propel the team to greater heights in upcoming international competitions.
Swedish coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren has been appointed as the Head Coach, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the role. He will be joined by Coaches Charles Sampson and Anita Wiredu, who will assist him in developing the team’s strategies and preparing the players for challenges ahead.
The goalkeepers will be in the capable hands of Nassamu Yakubu, while Enoch Jordan Daitey takes on the role of Athletic Coach, ensuring that the players are in peak physical condition.
The medical unit will be led by Kate Boachie-Agyemang, supported by Team Nurse Asinawu Abubakari and Physiotherapist Margaret Foli, all dedicated to maintaining the health and well-being of the athletes.
Additionally, Drucilia Arthur has been appointed as the Welfare Manager, ensuring that the players’ off-field needs are met. Equipment Officers Patience Nana A. Quarshie and Adwoa Bayor will manage the team’s gear, while Ronnie Bergdahl, an experienced video analyst, will provide crucial technical support by analyzing game footage and player performance.
The GFA expresses confidence in Coach Bjorkegren and his team’s ability to lead the Black Queens to success, as they prepare to represent Ghana on the international stage.
