Ghana Chamber of Mines Congratulates Mahama on Historic Re-Election; Pledges Support For Sector Growth

The Council and Members of the Ghana Chamber of Mines have extended heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama on his re-election as President of the Republic of Ghana.

In a statement, the Chamber described President Mahama’s historic victory as the first non-consecutive President of Ghana as a testament to his resilience and the trust the Ghanaian people have in his vision and leadership.

As President Mahama embarks on his second term, the Ghana Chamber of Mines pledged its unwavering support to his administration in fostering a thriving and sustainable mining sector. The Chamber expressed its commitment to collaborating with the government to ensure the mining industry continues to serve as a key driver of Ghana’s economic development.

The statement emphasized confidence in President Mahama’s leadership to further harness the sector’s potential to drive job creation, technology transfer, infrastructure development, and community well-being across the nation.

The Chamber also highlighted the importance of implementing policies that balance economic growth with environmental and social responsibility while creating an enabling environment for investment, local capacity building, and the long-term sustainability of the mining industry.

“Once again, congratulations, Your Excellency. We wish you immense success as you lead our nation into this promising new chapter,” the statement concluded.
