Newmont Africa’s Ahafo South Mine has been recognized as the best company in Ghana during the 21st edition of the Ghana Club 100 Awards. Organized by the Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC), this prestigious event celebrates the top-performing businesses in the country.

Maintaining its top position from last year’s awards, Newmont Africa outperformed notable competitors. Goldfields Ghana Ltd made a significant leap, climbing from fourth place last year to securing the second spot this year. Meanwhile, MTN Ghana retained its position among the top three companies.

The theme for this year’s awards was “Fostering Domestic Champions: Building Local Capacity.” This focus underscores the importance of effective corporate governance within Ghana’s private sector and aims to elevate local businesses to new heights.
