Known affectionately as “Baby Jet,” Gyan is celebrated as Ghana’s all-time top scorer, netting 51 goals in 109 appearances for the Black Stars. His impressive record also places him as Africa’s highest goal scorer in FIFA World Cup history, with six goals across three tournaments: Germany 2006, South Africa 2010, and Brazil 2014.

He later shone in the UAE with Al Ain and Al Ahli, as well as in China with Shanghai SIPG and Turkey with Kayserispor, ultimately concluding his professional career at Legon Cities FC in Ghana.
